POLICY PREVIEW

BRIDAL / NON-BRIDAL SERVICE POLICY

 

Less than 5 full services OR individual service will be done at our studio. 

We require a $35 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit for an in-studio appointment.

 

​You must be in our studio at your appointment time. There is a 10-minute grace period if you’re running late more than 10 minutes, we might have to cancel your appointment if we have another client booked after your appointment.

 

Our studio room is small, so only 1 guest is allowed to be in the room.

 

To reserve the date and time for each wedding/large group booking, we require a 30% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit, or the sum that was agreed upon.

 

Client agrees to pay the remaining balance of the event 1 day prior to event

by Cash or Zelle to 832-775-5351- Thao Nguyen.

 

The client is in charge of paying the travel costs, hotel rooms costs, and parking and or valet services if needed for the event.

 

Client agrees that if an attendee decides to cancel service(s) after contract is signed that no refund will be available but client has the option to replace attendee with someone else. Please note: Any changes made by the client must be done at least 7 days prior to the event.

 

If client has any concerns about the makeup or hair, this must be addressed to the artist/hairstylist working before the session is over. We won’t be able to redo the makeup or hairstyle due to the limited time on wedding day. If a client requests to change makeup or hairstyle after services are done, client will be charged the price of a new session.

 

Monday- Thursday Trial is available from 9:00am-12pm.

CLIENT CONSENT AND RELEASE PREVIEW 

BEFORE YOUR SERVICE
 Please ensure you are prepared for service with a completely clean face and prepped with your personal skincare products (if not available we can prep your skin before makeup application).
•    Removal of previous makeup will result in less time for application and may result in additional fees and overage in time at the client’s expense.
•    Reminder to wear a button-down top or loose-fitting shirt so as to not disturb application once it is applied.
•    Brow shaping and grooming are recommended to be done at least 1 week prior to your event. The service provider is not responsible for brow shaping on the day of the event.


USE OF IMAGES
The client does hereby consent and agrees that JENNY MAKEUP has the right to take photographs or digital recordings of me, the client, during my Makeup Application and or during my photoshoot. These photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and www.jennymakeup.art

COVID-19 RELEASE
•    The client acknowledges the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
•    The client further acknowledges that JENNY MAKEUP has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I, the client, acknowledge that  JENNY MAKEUP CAN NOT guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to personal service providers, and receiving personal services such as I am entering in with JENNY MAKEUP
•    I, the client, voluntarily seek services provided by JENNY MAKEUP and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my appointment.
•    I, the client, attest that: * I am not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. * I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days. * I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United State in the last 14 days. * I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. * I am following all CDC and other Governmental Health recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I, the client, hereby release and agree to hold  JENNY MAKEUP harmless from and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the Service Provider, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from  JENNY MAKEUP. I understand that this release discharges JENNY MAKEUP from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the Service Provider with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from the Service Provider. This consent and liability release extends to  JENNY MAKEUP and any associates of said Service Provider.


LIABILITY RELEASE
All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any allergies and/or skin conditions or illnesses would impede makeup application or risk the health of the Service provider or any associates of the Service provider must be reported by the client to the Service Provider before application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction.
•    Client(s) agree to release JENNY MAKEUP and any associates from liability for any skin complications, allergic reactions, or illness caused by or due to makeup application or services provided.
•    The client agrees to release JENNY MAKEUP and any associates from liability for any damages accidentally caused during the service to personal property or belongings of the client.


REGISTER YOUR AGREEMENT + UNDERSTANDING *
I, the client, have read and fully understand this agreement and all information detailed above. I understand the service and accept the risks. All of my questions have been answered to my satisfaction and I consent to the terms of this agreement. I/we have read this letter describing JENNY MAKEUP services and agree that it reflects the discussion I had with her and my intention to participate fully in this arrangement. I/we understand that life & business are unpredictable and will not hold JENNY MAKEUP and any associates liable regardless of the outcome. By agreeing here, you are consenting to the use of your electronic signature in place of an original signature on paper. You have the right to request that you sign a paper copy instead. By checking here, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electronic record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature with us for any documents will continue until you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
